VM backup functionality

The virtual server backup functionality is designed to store a virtual machine (VM) image on a reliable storage that remains available, even if there are problems on the node where your VM is hosted.

The provided backup functionality allows to:

• create backups manually, if necessary
• schedule a backup creation
• restore VM from a selected backup

We strongly recommend to use this functionality, create backups regularly and download them at least sometimes to increase the level of safety of your data.
